About the Magazine

Since 1994, Pegasus magazine has been written primarily for alumni. More often than not, Pegasus was written for alumni by alumni. The same is true today.

Pegasus was founded by Tom Messina, ’84, and Mike Hinn, ’92, as a partnership between the UCF Alumni Association and Knight Images. Today, Pegasus is published by UCF Marketing in partnership with the UCF Foundation, Inc. and the UCF Alumni Association.

Our goals for all readers, from alumni to students and from faculty to staff, include:

  1. Accelerate the UCF connection by reaching out; we don’t have the luxury of 100 years
  2. Remind readers what they love about UCF
  3. Make Pegasus entertaining, useful and beautiful
  4. Bring the campus to the reader
  5. Lift the reader to a higher level. Make the reader feel better, not worse
